    The Determinants of COVID-19 Vaccine Acceptance in Sumatra

    In light of the current coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination programs being implemented worldwide, this study aimed to evaluate the COVID-19 vaccine acceptance survey in Indonesia conducted by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, the National Immunization Technical Advisory Group (NITAG), and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), published in November 2020. It was found that Sumatra Island having lower COVID-19 vaccine acceptance rates, with Aceh Province displaying the lowest level of vaccine acceptance. Thus, a cross-sectional study was conducted, and a logistic regression analysis was used to identify the factors affecting COVID-19 vaccine acceptance. Out of 368 respondents who participated in the survey, 143 (38.9%) accepted the vaccine, and 225 (61.1%) refused it. Vaccine safety concerns constituted the most reported reason for refusal (43.6%). This study also found that province of residence and basic immunization status were determinants of COVID-19 vaccine acceptance in Sumatra. Concerns regarding vaccine safety might be the reason for the low level of vaccination in Sumatra. Increased education and encouragement from healthcare professionals and regional authority figures can alleviate public concerns and improve vaccine acceptance

    Komunikasi merupakan aspek penting yang perlu diajarkan pada anak, terutama pada usia remaja yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan pribadi mereka. Di era modern ini metode komunikasi beralih kepada komunikasi online yang lebih praktis terutama media teks(email/chatting) yang seringkali cenderung kurang sopan untuk digunakan bicara secara langsung. Maka dari itu dibuatlah media yang dapat mendorong anak untuk berkomunikasi langsung melalui media board game. Berbeda dengan game digital, board game memberikan pemainnya kesempatan untuk saling berinteraksi secara langsung, baik dalam menyampaikan pendapat. Nantinya board game yang dibuat akan mengusung genre strategi dengan mekanik deck building yang akan mendorong pemain untuk berkomunikasi satu sama lain dalam membagi kekuatan serta berdiskusi untuk dapat mengalahkan musuh yang dihadapi. Agar mekanik dalam game lebih mudah dimengerti, akan dibuat companion app untuk memberikan video penjelasan mengenai game tersebut

    Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh experiential marketing, product quality, service quality terhadap customer satisfaction dan, customer loyalty pada restoran Ikan Bakar Cianjur (IBC) di Surabaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kausal dengan menggunakan metode survei. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan sampel acak yaitu non-probability purposive sampling. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 150 responden. Sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan konsumen restoran Ikan Bakar Cianjur (IBC) di Surabaya yang sudah berumur diatas 17 tahun dan yang pernah mengunjungi restoran Ikan Bakar Cianjur (IBC) di Surabaya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah SEM dengan program LISREL. Hasil analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa experiential marketing, product quality,dan service quality memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap customer satisfaction dan customer loyalty secara langsung pada Restoran Ikan Bakar Cianjur (IBC) di Surabaya. Berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, maka peneliti memberikan saran kepada pihak manajemen Restoran Ikan Bakar Cianjur (IBC) di Surabaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan, kualitas produk, dan mampu menawarkan pengalaman emosi terhadap konsumen, maka kepuasan pelanggan akan tercapai dan pelanggan tersebut akan menjadi loyal. Tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi dari pelanggan akan menghasilkan loyalitas pelanggan terhadap restoran Ikan Bakar Cianjur (IBC)

    An Automated Attendance System in Academia with Implicit Authentication via Mobile Devices and Wi-Fi Connection

    Many automated attendance systems have been proposed in academia. However, all of them require the attendees to consciously record their attendance. This is prone to human error as some attendees may forget to do that. It is also distractive as the recording process should be remembered by the attendees, in addition to focusing on their main responsibilities. This paper proposes an automated attendance system with implicit authentication, based on the connection between the attendees' mobile devices and the Wi-Fi network. Our evaluation shows that this system is almost 100\% accurate in recording staff attendance. It is applicable due to many factors.     Bebras Challenge is a competition for elementary to high school students to educate informatics and computational thinking, followed by sixty countries all over the world. Bebras Indonesia Community in coordination with the International Bebras Committee holds the challenge yearly. Indonesia has participated in the Bebras Challenge since 2016. Faculty of Information Technology Maranatha Christian University as a Bebras Bureau has also been involved in the challenge since 2016. To prepare students for Bebras Challenge, Maranatha Bebras Bureau holds a teacher workshop yearly. The Teacher Workshop supports teachers to strengthen students in practicing Bebras tasks. Data on students who participated in the Bebras Challenge at Maranatha Bebras Bureau indicates increasing numbers from 2016 until 2020. This paper describes a service learning for mentoring teachers and students in the Bebras Challenge, which was held in the pandemic year 2020. Teacher mentoring was using a service learning approach, where the lecturers provided training to the teachers and then the teachers would share their knowledge back to their students. There were advantages and disadvantages of the execution during the pandemic. Although in a distance learning condition, teachers and students were still enthusiastic to participate in Bebras Challenge. The number of students who followed the 2020 Bebras Challenge nearly five times compared to 2019 in the Maranatha Bebras Bureau. The scores of elementary school students who followed the challenge showed very good results. On the other side, the results of junior and senior high school students were not as good as the scores of elementary school students
